    This is a pink girly bike that has been upgraded with V brake calipers and avid single digit levers! WHY? We basically don't have any flat roads here and the original steel cantilevers were hopeless, not to mention rusted. Also the brake levers themselves were made of cheap plastic, and they soon cracked (dangerous!)

    My neice in law almost couldn't stop with her tiny little fingers, the orignal brakes were that pathetic! So I decided to tune this bike a little bit, leaving the original pink cable housing at her request (I feel she's not worthy of having vertebrae ceramic brakes just yet hahaha)

    This adult was able to stop on 20% slopes with very little effort, so I'm extremely pleased with the upgrade! Also the steel rims aren't too bad... she's not intending on riding in the wet & I think the rust layer present on the rims actually helps the brakes work better. LOL New rubbery gel-like grips were also installed...
